Jeff Fisher Divvied Up $1M Cash @ Camp to Prepare Rookies

The Post-Dispatch reported St. Louis Rams head coach Jeff Fisher had armed guards bring in $1 million dollars cash to the Rams facility last month to prepare his incoming rookies financially. The guards spread the cash out on a table and divvied up the money for taxes, agents’ commissions, and other expenses to show how small of a percentage the players actually pocket. Sports Illustrated reported that 78% of NFL players go broke within two years of retirement. Fisher is a smart man. via USA Today [STORY]
